Job Details Bring your leadership and appetite for service to Samaritan Healthcare's brand-new hospital as Director of Nutritional Services-nestled in the beautiful community of Moses Lake, Washington. The Position
- The Director of Nutritional Services will lead the development, launch, and day-to-day operations of the Nutritional Services department in a newly built hospital.
- Reporting to the Chief Human Resources Officer, this leader will oversee five direct reports and approximately 30 FTEs.
- Key responsibilities include overseeing inpatient food services and the café, supporting staff training on new processes and equipment, assisting with hiring efforts, enhancing customer service and the overall room service experience, and contributing to menu development and feedback initiatives.
- The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in nutritional services leadership, experience working in union environments, and a proven ability to foster team engagement and deliver high-quality service. They must be a highly energized and organized leader, patient-focused, and capable of adapting to changing needs. Strong communication skills are essential.
Requirements
- Bachelor's required Masters preferred.
- A valid WA Food Handler's Permit and Certified Food Protection Manager (CFPM) credentials are required.
- A minimum of two years of leadership experience, along with five to seven years of experience in nutrition services, is required.
Compensation Range
- The base salary range for this position is $110,000 to $146,000 annually. In addition, a leader may be eligible for other benefits, including but not limited to health insurance coverage, retirement benefits, and bonuses. The total compensation for the finalist selected for this role will be determined based on various factors, including but not limited to scope of role, level of experience, education, accomplishments, internal equity, budget, and subject to Fair Market Value evaluation. The base salary range listed above is a good faith determination of potential base compensation at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.
