On3 | Rivals is seeking an experienced and results-driven Director of National Advertising Sales to lead and grow our national advertising and brand partnerships business. This role will be responsible for driving multi-channel media sales across our digital platforms and developing client and agency relationships. The ideal candidate will be based in New York City, with deep ties to the agency and brand community, and will report directly to the CRO.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead national advertising sales and consistently meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets
• Cultivate direct relationships with agencies and brands, including Fortune 500 companies and key media buyers
• Package and sell cross-platform media solutions: branded content, display, video, newsletters, podcasts, social media, and experiential activations
• Collaborate with editorial, marketing, and product teams to create compelling, custom sponsorship opportunities
• Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline development via Hubspot
• Represent On3 | Rivals at industry conferences, client meetings, and marketing events
• Provide feedback to internal teams to support continued product evolution and innovation

Qualifications

• 4+ years of media sales experience with a strong track record of exceeding goals
• Established relationships with agencies and holding companies (e.g., GroupM, Publicis, Dentsu, IPG, Omnicom, Havas) and direct brand advertisers
• Proven ability to close six- and seven-figure integrated media deals
• Deep understanding of digital ad formats (display, video, branded content, social, experiential)
• Strong communication, negotiation, and strategic thinking skills
• Entrepreneurial mindset and comfort operating in a fast-paced, startup-like environment
• Passion for college and high school sports a must
