Director of Materials Management (Finance)

As a Director of Materials Management at Honeywell, you will oversee the materials management organization, focusing on optimizing supply chain efficiency, reducing costs, and ensuring timely delivery of materials to support production schedules.

You will report to the VP S&OE and work from our Mason, Ohio location on a Hybrid schedule.

This role impacts supply chain planning and execution within the IGS business, ensuring a streamlined, cost-effective supply chain that maximizes resource utilization. Your responsibilities include optimizing inventory levels and procurement strategies to reduce operational expenses and maintain a steady flow of materials for production.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • 10+ years of experience in manufacturing, focusing on materials management, scheduling, and logistics, with success in supply chain process optimization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with data-driven decision-making ability.
  • Proficiency in materials management software and ERP systems, specifically Oracle.
  • Experience in production scheduling and inventory control.

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience managing and motivating teams.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
