$141,755.00/yr - $200,000.00/yr

Overview

Seeking a Marketing Director to lead and execute the company's marketing strategy, emphasizing brand development, digital lead generation, market segmentation research, sales enablement and engagement through direct and distribution sales channels in the dental and medical markets. This position requires expertise in strategic planning and execution using structured frameworks such as the Big Picture methodology to develop, implement, and measure impactful marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with company priorities to increase sales across the direct and distribution channels of medical and dental markets.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration with other functions primarily including Sales, Finance, and Customer Service to ensure marketing initiatives are integrated, aligned, and outcome-driven.
  • Proactively collaborate with channel partners in establishing shared vision and priorities, and aligning teams to set and achieve realistic goals and work plans.
  • Develop, prioritize and refine the company's market segmentation and customer targeting strategies, supported by clearly identified value propositions identifying competitive advantages.
  • Establish clear goals, performance metrics, and a culture of accountability to ensure team focus, execution, and continuous improvement.
  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing marketing team across upstream, downstream, digital, and product development disciplines.
  • Help define and lead Voice of Customer (VOC) initiatives and market research to uncover insights that shape product strategy and innovation.
  • Collaborate with product teams to develop and launch differentiated solutions, grounded in customer needs and market demand.
  • Create compelling business cases, positioning strategies, and pricing models that support adoption and profitability.
  • Lead go-to-market execution and product launches, ensuring alignment of messaging, timing, and operational and regulatory requirements.
  • Align with the go-to-market needs of the Sales team in the development of sales enablement tools and training resources.
  • Oversee development and management of a digital marketing strategy that includes SEO/SEM, email, social media, web properties and sales automation.
  • Ensure a unified and compelling brand presence across all touchpoints, reinforcing the company's mission and market leadership through education and product innovation.
  • Track and analyze marketing performance metrics, leveraging data to optimize campaigns and inform strategic decisions.
  • Manage the marketing budget effectively, ensuring smart investment allocation and measurable ROI.
  • Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and marketing standards, ensuring all initiatives meet industry requirements.
Knowledge & Skills
  • Proven experience leading and driving integrated marketing in a growth-oriented environment.
  • History of previous healthcare marketing experience in regulated environments.
  • Detail oriented with strong analytical, communication, organizational and verbal skills.
  • Must have extensive hands-on experience with the development and deployment of go-to-market plans.

Minimum Work Experience
  • 10+ years of experience in healthcare marketing leadership roles, including experience managing upstream, downstream and digital
  • Prior experience working in a regulated environment
Preferred Education

Typically, a bachelor's degree or global equivalent in related discipline. Master's degree or global equivalent a plus.

Travel / Physical Demands

Travel can be as much as 25%. Office environment. No special physical demands are required.

Complexity

Work on complex, numerous and unique issues where analysis of situations or data requires in-depth knowledge of the company and an evaluation of intangibles. Knowledge of all areas within sub-function(s) derived from experience in non-management and middle-management roles allowing for innovative concepts and promoting new ideas within the function.

Strategy

Participate in establishing the strategic direction to ensure alignment with overall Company strategy and initiatives. Focus may be on the execution of large and/or complex processes. Translate and guide team to implement strategy.

Supervision

Direct and control activities through managers or senior professional level staff who have responsibility for the operation of the assigned area and/or process or system.

Interaction

Regularly interact with executives and/or major customers/stakeholders. Ability to negotiate with suppliers or management and influence senior level leaders regarding matters of significance.

Scope

Typically direct a large complex section of a department or a complex department with significant scope and financial and operational impact. Role may focus on executing a large and very complex/complicated process. Accountable for performance, results and staffing. Make recommendations for the objectives, policies and plans of the sub-function(s). Fully accountable for meeting the strategic and operating objectives of the sub-function(s). Develop proposed budgets for approval and manage budget once approved. Operate with substantial latitude for un-reviewed action or decision. Often plays a role in high-level projects that have an impact on the company's future direction.

Management Duties

Can hire, terminate, or promote and is aware of higher-level functional issues and concerns. Makes decisions on salary increases, performance reviews, disciplinary actions, etc.

Performance Requirements

Typically, to advance to a new job level, TSMs must demonstrate professional behavior and should consistently be at the high-end of meeting expectations or consistently exceed expectations.
