Position Overview
The Director of Marketable Investments (“Director”) will support the mission of the Investments Office, ensuring that The Rockefeller Foundation's approximately $6 billion endowment is invested in a manner that generates superior risk-adjusted returns to (i) provide steady funding for program spending, and (ii) preserve real value, all while maintaining alignment with the Foundation's overall mission.
Reporting to the Managing Director, Investments, the Director's responsibilities will primarily focus on providing portfolio management support and coverage across the Marketable Investments portfolio (Public Equity, Hedge Funds, Portable Alpha, Fixed Income, and Cash). The responsibilities of this position can be summarized in two categories: (i) portfolio management and external manager evaluation/due diligence, and (ii) other responsibilities across the Investments Office.

Pay Range :$300,000 - $346,000. This represents the present low and high end of the Foundation's pay range for this position. Actual pay will vary based on various factors, including but not limited to experience.
Work Schedule :This role is on a hybrid work schedule and required to be in the office on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. The position is based in New York, NY, with frequent travel expected.
