Position OverviewThe Department of Environmental Health at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health invites applications for a full-time tenure ladder faculty position at the rank of full professor as Director of the John B Little Center for Radiation Sciences. Applicants should have a PhD, MD, ScD, or equivalent doctoral degree.
ResponsibilitiesWe are seeking a qualified individual to research and translate science on radiation and environmental exposures, whose expertise includes one (or preferably more) of the following areas:
The candidate should also be knowledgeable about the interdependence of radiation biology, radiation epidemiology, and environmental exposures at the individual and population levels. The ability to translate scientific research into policy recommendations for regulatory frameworks and public health protection is essential.

The selected candidate will work closely with the two current tenure-track faculty and their teams in the JBL Center, recognizing their leadership roles and overseeing their sustained research and career progression. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for fostering cross-departmental and cross-institutional collaborations across schools, hospitals, and the university to enhance the Center's impact and growth.
