Director, IT&S Strategic Planning - Northwell Health : Job Details

Directs and provides oversight and accountability for information systems services and activities for one or more hospitals or business units. Acts as Information Systems point person for site(s), builds and maintains site specific plan, and ensures alignment between organization (Corporate) IT plan and site. Optimizes use of technology solutions in support of strategic plan, needs of site, patients, physicians/clinicians and the community. Job Responsibility Leads an IT&S Strategic Planning group by communicating with and developing staff members, and building consensus for programs and goals that support a business, function or geographic area. Develops and articulates a short-term strategic vision for areas of responsibility. Leads the site planning process, analyzes key business initiatives and information needs which support, influence and transform business operations and strategy; collaborates with the leadership to ensure business plan is aligned with Enterprise plan.
