The Director of IT Infrastructure is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of the organization's technology infrastructure. This includes managing enterprise platforms, network services, cybersecurity, and technical operations that support complex delivery systems. The ideal candidate will provide strategic directions to ensure the infrastructure is secure, scalable, and aligned with the company's overall goals. Responsibilities include leading and prioritizing infrastructure initiatives, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget, managing financial planning and budgeting for infrastructure, and mentoring team members to foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence. Specific duties include providing strategic leadership for the IT Infrastructure department, overseeing teams responsible for enterprise systems, cloud infrastructure, network architecture, cybersecurity, and technical operations; developing and executing long-term infrastructure strategies aligned with organizational goals and compliance requirements; overseeing design, implementation, and maintenance of secure, scalable IT systems on-premises and cloud-based; managing cloud infrastructure including platform selection, cost efficiency, performance, scalability, and governance; implementing cybersecurity measures including network and endpoint security, intrusion detection/prevention, vulnerability management, and incident response readiness; ensuring infrastructure and security architectures support regulatory compliance including HIPAA; managing infrastructure budgets and forecasting; partnering with senior leadership to define and report on IT performance indicators; ensuring business continuity and disaster recovery plans; driving adoption of innovative technologies including cloud-native tools and AI; mentoring and developing team members; collaborating with vendors and regulatory bodies; and maintaining infrastructure policies and documentation. Required qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in IT or related field (or equivalent experience), at least 10 years progressive IT infrastructure experience with 5 years leadership in healthcare, 3 years managing cloud infrastructure (preferably Microsoft Azure), 3 years direct cybersecurity infrastructure experience, deep expertise in enterprise systems and network architecture, success leading large IT projects, knowledge of healthcare IT compliance including HIPAA, and strong leadership and communication skills. Preferred qualifications include a Master's degree and professional certifications such as ITIL, CISSP, AZ-305.
