Responsibilities
Support the origination and execution of investment banking transaction mandates for large-cap and middle market corporate clients and financial sponsors such as: buy and sell-side M&A, inclusive of cross-border transactions, as well as capital markets processes, including debt and equity offerings.
Perform execution and due diligence processes for investment banking transactions.
Complete financial analysis and creation of financial models as part of a broader team, including detailed valuation analysis, such as: LBO analysis, discounted cash flow, accretion and dilution, IPO pro forma analysis, comparative company analysis, and sum of parts analysis.
Draft and negotiate engagement letters, confidentiality agreements and other documents related to investment banking transactions.
Act as the primary day-to-day client point of contact and lead banker on deal execution, coverage and origination and liaise with other internal and external parties on transactions (e.g.
Attend client meetings with prospective buyers in sell-side M&A processes, including management presentations, coordination meetings and due diligence sessions.
Support internal transaction and capital commitment committee processes such as Fairness Committee, Equity Commitment Committee and Investment Grade and Leveraged Finance Committee.
Prepare client presentation materials, internal approval memos, and marketing documents such as roadshow materials, confidential information memorandums, and rating agency presentations to execute transactions.
Execute investment banking transactions and processes in a global bulge bracket firm environment, including both M&A and capital markets products on domestic and on cross-border basis.
Prepare financial models and analysis, including detailed valuation analysis, such as: LBO analysis, discounted cash flow, accretion and dilution, IPO pro forma analysis, comparative company analysis, and sum of parts analysis among others.
Conduct research using Euromonitor, Factset, Capital IQ, Bloomberg, and Factiva to analyze market data and competitive dynamics.
Prepare materials for clients and participate in client meetings during the course of investment banking deal origination and execution.
Research and analyze trends within sub-sectors of the healthcare industry, including biotechnology and pharma within life sciences, healthcare services including digital health and medical technology, and the Consumer & Retail industry, including restaurants, food retailing, luxury, apparel, food, beverage, and personal care.
Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Economics, Business Administration, Finance, or related: and
7 years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related Finance occupation.

New York pay and benefits information
New York pay range:
$350,000.00 - $350,000.00annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.
Discretionary incentive eligible
