From core products at the heart of commerce to digital, security, and services solutions, Solutions Architects play a vital role in driving influence and revenue for Mastercard.
As the Director, Solutions Architect – Cobrand New Business Development, you will collaborate with our Business Development team on RFPs, pitches, and customer conversations focused on new programs and brand conversions, aiming to grow net new GDV. You will identify customer needs, map them to Mastercard products and services, and support storytelling across traditional cobrand merchants. You will also work on strategic projects with long-term impact.
About the Role
Reports to the Vice President, Solutions Architect, Market Development Supports the EVP of Business Development in new business initiatives across Cobrands Focuses on opportunities that promote Mastercard's preference and enable solutions through partners Understands Mastercard's products and solutions and effectively communicates capabilities to customers Collaborates with Business Development to identify needs and opportunities; recommends solutions in coordination with Product, Innovation, Services, and Marketing teams Creates data-driven thought leadership on market topics to differentiate Mastercard Supports RFP responses, leading the development of pitch narratives and content Develops storyboards for demos that showcase Mastercard's Cobrand product and service vision Provides market insights to internal stakeholders in Product, Innovation, Services, and Marketing All About You
- Problem solver with a keen understanding of customer challenges; inquisitive and detail-oriented
- Basic knowledge of the payments ecosystem and Mastercard's role
- Ability to analyze data and derive insights and recommendations
- Familiar with Mastercard areas such as:
- Product (Consumer Credit, Small Business Credit, Debit)
- Digital Solutions (MDES, Push Provisioning, Digital Wallets, UX)
- Innovation (Mastercard Labs)
- Services (Loyalty, Consulting, Fraud & Security)
