Director Human Resources – Life Science Fluidics & Shared Operations

VP Human Resources – IDEX Health & Science

Role Scope:

The HR Director will oversee all human resources functions for the 4 Fluidics sites in the US and the site in Japan, aligning HR strategies with company goals. They will lead the global HR team of 6 and support business needs, focusing on employee engagement, talent management, organizational development, and compliance. The role reports to the Vice President HR, IH&S, and is a member of the IH&S Operations Senior Leadership Team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement global HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Support organizational design and process improvements.
  • Partner with senior leadership to achieve business results.
  • Coach and develop HR team members.
  • Manage compensation, employee relations, and compliance issues.
  • Drive employee engagement and retention initiatives.
  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and talent development programs.
  • Ensure legal compliance with employment regulations.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
  • At least 10 years of progressive HR experience, including leadership roles.
  • Broad knowledge of employment law, compensation, and organizational planning.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or technical environment preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and HRIS systems.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 15%.
