At GXO Logistics, we are seeking a Director, Human Resources who will have overall responsibility to lead and drive global people strategies for corporate teams. This role ensures proper management and deployment of all strategic aspects of the full employee cycle while embracing global and regional policies, processes, and programs.

This position provides strategic HR business partnering support to key executive leaders in global functions, helping achieve business goals through effective people strategies, development, and implementation. The role acts as a liaison among regional HR teams, ensuring smooth deployment of cross-regional activities and a positive employee experience across borders.

Typical responsibilities include:

  • Strategic HR Business Partner to leadership: act as coach, architect, facilitator, and leader, ensuring HR delivery aligns with strategic goals.
  • Developing a high-performance culture by identifying issues, designing solutions, and implementing performance improvement plans.
  • Providing HR insights to address people-related issues and shape current strategies related to people, capabilities, leadership, and culture.
  • Partnering with regional and Center of Excellence (COE) teams to ensure HR activities meet global and regional needs.
  • Driving business transformation as a change agent, including organization design and change management initiatives.
  • Collaborating on talent management and succession planning processes.
  • Promoting high performance and engagement across stakeholder groups.
  • Minimum qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in related work or military service.
    • At least 7 years of HR experience supporting global senior leaders.
    • Experience supporting global teams in corporate roles within international organizations.
    • Strong background in driving functional transformations.
    • Understanding of US and UK/European employment laws.
    • Proven ability to work cross-functionally and cross-regionally at an executive level, with a hands-on approach.

    Preferred qualifications:

    • Bachelor's in HR, Business, or Psychology.
    • Advanced HR certifications like MBA, PHR, SPHR, or similar.
    • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
    • Global mindset with excellent collaboration and matrix management skills.
    • Results-oriented with a proactive, action-driven attitude.
