Job Summary
The Stanford Alumni Association (SAA) has a mission to reach, serve, and engage all 240,000+ Stanford alumni and students; to foster a lifelong intellectual and emotional connection between the university and its graduates; and to provide the university with goodwill and support. SAA produces a wide array of offerings and programming to connect Stanford alumni, ranging from events such as Reunion Homecoming, to a wide range of volunteer opportunities, to creating content, including STANFORD magazine, and providing travel opportunities, including the Stanford Travel/Study and Stanford Sierra Camp programs.
Position Summary:Managing the Global Alumni Community Engagement team of nine (4 direct reports and 5 indirect reports), the Director of Global Alumni Community Engagement (GACE) provides leadership on new and current alumni relations programs and projects. With an emphasis on driving our alumni communities platforms (including geographic, shared identity, and professional communities) and regional programs, this role leads the development of strategies, delivery, and evaluation of quality programming to fulfill the Stanford Alumni Association's mission to reach, serve, and engage all Stanford alumni. This role reports to the Chief Alumni Relations Officer, and will be a part of the SAA Ad Council, the leadership team at SAA.
Job Purpose:Provide leadership on new and current alumni relations programs and projects for the GACE department. Develop strategies for and across alumni relations departments, conduct program evaluation and marketing analysis, link strategies to business and departmental objective, with a goal of providing quality engagement opportunities for Stanford's alumni.
Core Duties:The expected pay range for this position is $170,115 per annum to $190,000 per annum.
