We're looking for an exceptional Director of FP&A to become the financial co-pilot to our four Business Units — a leader who thrives on shaping strategy, driving profitable growth, and building a metrics-driven, high-performance culture. You'll combine sharp strategic thinking with hands-on execution, working side by side with senior leaders and guiding a talented team of FP&A managers and analysts.

What You'll Do

Be a True Business Partner

• Serve as a trusted advisor to BU leaders, shaping strategy, spotting risks and opportunities, and driving operational excellence
• Collaborate cross-functionally to align financial plans with business priorities
• Hold the organization accountable for delivering on commitments, KPIs, and value creation
• Own the Annual Operating Plan, Monthly forecasting, and long-range planning process across the company and BUs
• Track performance vs. plan, deliver variance analysis, and recommend course corrections
• Provide clear, actionable insights on revenue, margin, cost, and capital allocation
• Turn complex financial data into simple, compelling recommendations for action

Drive Performance & Results

• Establish and track key metrics that drive profitable growth and efficiency
• Build best-in-class models, dashboards, and reporting tools that create transparency
• Identify opportunities to expand margins, reduce costs, and boost operational effectiveness
• Lead, mentor, and elevate a high-performing FP&A team
• Create a culture of curiosity, ownership, and continuous improvement

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA/CMA strongly preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or related roles, ideally within a global, multi-business-unit environment.
• Proven track record as a strategic business partner and influencer at the senior leadership level.
• Strong financial acumen with expertise in financial modeling, analysis, and performance management.
• Exceptional communication and storytelling skills — able to distill insights and influence outcomes.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and inspire teams.
• Bias for action: willing to roll up sleeves, challenge the status quo, and drive change.
• Experience in a fast-paced, results-driven organization (e.g., top-tier multinational, Fortune 500, PE-backed, or leading industry players) is a plus.

This role is based out of our corporate headquarters in Mason, MI working a hybrid schedule with 3 days in the office per week. Relocation assistance is available for currently located outside the area.
