Director Financial Rptg & Technical Acct - JetBlue Airways Corporation : Job Details

The Director Financial Reporting and Technical Accounting oversees accounting teams whose main function is the timely and accurate internal and external financial reporting for JetBlue Airways Corporation. The Director directs the financial statement close process, oversees the financial statement audit and researches accounting issues. The Director also has overall responsibility for all financial reporting to the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the Department of Transportation and other governmental entities. The Director is also responsible for certain accounting areas withing the control function such as stock compensation, earnings per share (EPS), debt, fleet accounting and fixed assets. The Director Financial Reporting and Technical Accounting is a key member of the Controllers Group and the broader Finance team that is dedicated to driving the financial strategy in support of corporate goals.
