Our platform and services empower organizations to transform raw data assets into actionable, revenue-generating products - whether by building internal data products, launching new data-driven services, or licensing data to external buyers. The Role

As Director of Partnerships, you'll build and scale FirstParty's partnerships function from the ground up. This is a high-impact, entrepreneurial role that will pull from proven skills in business development, data strategy, and partnership success.

Our target customers - mid to large enterprises - already engage with cloud providers, consultants, technology firms, and private equity shops looking for support on data initiatives. However, these partners typically lack proven expertise in data monetization. You'll lead our partnership strategy, forging high-value alliances with these channels to drive joint growth and deliver unique value to our customers.

You'll own the full lifecycle—from sourcing and structuring strategic partnerships to driving go-to-market initiatives that convert partner influence into enterprise adoption. This is a unique opportunity to shape FirstParty's role in the modern data economy and define how the industry helps enterprises turn data into revenue.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead FirstParty's ecosystem strategy—spanning cloud platforms, PEs, consultancies, and data infrastructure players.
  • Identify high-leverage opportunities that drive top-of-funnel reach and co-sell motions.

Partner Development

  • Source, negotiate, and manage strategic partnerships that accelerate leads and market engagement.
  • Build deep relationships with partner orgs, including execs, field teams, and solutions architects.
  • Enable partners with the right tools, content, and training to drive adoption.

Go-to-Market & New Business

  • Own all partner-sourced business development—turn warm intros into closed deals.
  • Collaborate closely with internal sales to co-develop pipeline and execute joint GTM initiatives.

Operational Excellence

  • Define KPIs and build tracking frameworks to measure the ROI and influence of partner efforts.
  • Work cross-functionally with product, technology, and customer success to align execution with roadmap priorities.

Market Voice

  • Represent FirstParty at key events, conferences, and ecosystem forums—positioning us as leaders in data monetization.

Key Attributes & Qualifications

  • 7–10+ years in partnerships, business development, or enterprise sales—preferably in a high-growth B2B tech or data company.
  • Proven track record of building and scaling high-impact partner ecosystems that drive revenue with grit and precision.
  • Experience with co-sell motions inside cloud platforms, data infrastructure vendors, or PE/consulting networks.
  • Deep understanding of data strategy, monetization, and enterprise data products.
  • Strong operator mindset—equally comfortable setting vision and rolling up sleeves to execute.
  • Excellent communicator and relationship builder, able to influence across technical and commercial stakeholders.
  • Self-directed, accountable, and thrives in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.

Bonus Experience

  • Existing relationships within major cloud providers or private equity networks.
  • Background in enterprise sales, consulting, or venture-backed startups.
