JOB TITLE: Director - Enterprise Sales - NLA REPORTING TO: VP, Enterprise Sales JOB PURPOSE: The Director - Enterprise Sales is responsible for executing the company's Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy and leading a high-performance sales team. This role oversees Strategic Account Executives, Mid-Market Account Executives, Small Business Account Executives, and Account Managers, ensuring alignment with revenue objectives, market expansion goals, and customer acquisition strategies. The Director - Enterprise Sales plays a critical role in driving sales growth, managing team performance, and fostering a results-driven culture. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead and manage a team of sales professionals across multiple segments, driving new business acquisition and account growth.
- Develop and implement sales strategies aligned with the company's GTM approach to maximize market penetration.
- Collaborate with sales leadership to establish quotas, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and track overall sales performance.
- Coach, mentor, and develop sales team members to enhance productivity, sales effectiveness, and professional growth.
- Partner with internal teams such as Marketing, Customer Success, and Sales Operations to optimize the sales process and customer experience.
- Ensure accurate pipeline management, forecasting, and reporting within the company's CRM system.
- Drive prospecting efforts through structured sales initiatives, including networking, referrals, and targeted outreach.
- Support team members in field sales efforts, assisting with high-value deals and customer negotiations.
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of the competitive landscape, industry trends, and company offerings.
- Execute territory expansion strategies, identifying new opportunities for business development.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to drive results through motivation and accountability.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with a strategic mindset to influence business decisions.
- Proven ability to analyze market dynamics and implement sales strategies effectively.
- Highly organized, with strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Proficiency in CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and data-driven sales management.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 5+ years of sales management experience, with a focus on leading teams in a high-growth, hunter-driven environment.
- Demonstrated success in managing multi-segment sales teams and exceeding revenue targets.
- Experience in telecommunications, technology, or related industries is a plus.
- Ability to travel as needed to support regional sales efforts.
