Job Description :

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Strategic Leadership
  • Define and lead the enterprise AI strategy, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and transformation initiatives.
  • Oversee the centralized AI Hub, including leads for Business Strategy & Value, Workforce Transformation, Responsible AI, Readiness & Adoption, and Business Process Re-engineering.
  • Partner with leadership to prioritize AI investments and measure business impact.
  • Governance & Risk Management
  • Establish and chair the Responsible AI Council, ensuring ethical, legal, and compliant AI practices.
  • Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, and Enterprise Risk Management to uphold governance standards and reporting requirements.
  • Ensure AI systems meet internal and external audit, transparency, and accountability expectations.
  • Operational Enablement
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration with Finance and Technology to ensure scalable and sustainable AI delivery.
  • Lead the integration of AI into business processes, workforce transformation, and automation initiatives.
  • Oversee the development of business cases and value realization frameworks for AI initiatives.
  • Adoption & Change Management
  • Champion AI literacy and readiness across the enterprise in partnership with HR and Learning & Development.
  • Oversee change management, training, and user adoption strategies to ensure successful implementation and sustained usage.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Directly manage AI Hub leads across five core pillars: Strategy & Value, Workforce Transformation, Responsible AI, Readiness & Adoption, and Process Re-engineering.
  • Lead a multidisciplinary team including AI product managers, data scientists, engineers, and adoption specialists.
  • Define team structure, performance metrics, and career development plans.
  • Provide coaching, mentorship, and succession planning for AI Hub leadership and staff.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Deep understanding of AI technologies, lifecycle management, and responsible AI frameworks.
  • Strong strategic thinking, business acumen, and ability to translate AI capabilities into business value.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills, including experience influencing at the leadership level.
  • Experience navigating complex, matrixed organizations and leading cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with change management, digital adoption platforms, and enterprise governance models.

EDUCATION AND TRAINING:

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Data Science, Business, Engineering) preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in AI, data, or digital leadership roles.
  • Experience leading enterprise-wide AI programs and managing large cross-functional teams.
  • Certifications in AI ethics, change management, or project management are a plus.

Pay Transparency Statement:

US Base Salary Range: $189,600.00 - $246,400.00

Base pay offered to new hires may vary based upon factors including relevant industry and job-related skills and experience, geographic location, and business needs.* The range displayed does not encompass the full potential of the role, which allows for further growth and career progression.

In addition, as a part of our total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Vertex Bonus Plan (VOB), a role-specific sales commission/bonus, and/or equity grants.
