Lead the development and implementation of system‐wide downtime preparedness protocols and continuity plans for both clinical and administrative departments.
Collaborate with executive leadership, IT, clinical, and operational teams to identify potential vulnerabilities and develop mitigation strategies.
Create, maintain, and routinely test downtime and recovery playbooks tailored to department‐specific workflows.
Oversee staff training, drills, and education programs to ensure consistent understanding and readiness at all levels of the organization.
Analyze lessons learned from downtime events and incorporate improvements into existing protocols.
Serve as the subject matter expert and liaison to Executives during live downtime events, providing real‐time guidance and support to operational teams working with CIO and CISO.
Ensure alignment with regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and industry best practices for business continuity and patient safety.
Champion a culture of resilience, preparedness, and operational excellence across all levels of the organization.
Minimum 15 years of progressive leadership experience in nursing and/or healthcare operations
Registered Nurse (RN) with active license.
Advanced nursing degree preferred (MSN, DNP, or equivalent).Deep knowledge of clinical workflows, hospital operations, regulatory compliance, and quality and safety standards.
Proven ability to lead cross‐functional teams and drive organizational change in complex healthcare environments.
Strong strategic thinking, communication, and crisis management skills.
Experience in emergency preparedness, business continuity, or health system resilience initiatives is highly desirable
