Director, Distribution Operations - Cardinal Health : Job Details

The Director, Operations reports to Vice President of Operations and is responsible for motivating, developing, and leading a team of three direct reports and 250 indirect employees. The Director, Operations oversees and ensures the successful distribution of national and Cardinal Health branded products to customers from a single or multiple distribution sites and is held responsible for meeting site specific goals and objectives. The Director, Operations oversees and directs materials and logistics problem resolution for a complex or medium sized site to ensure availability of materials and smooth operations. This job may direct cost reduction and process improvement projects for their site to ensure efficiency of operations and cost effectiveness.
