In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Develop and lead company strategy around equipment design engineering related to IDT manufacturing technology. Develop and measure standard metrics.
• Direct and develop the design engineering team from proof-of-concept efforts to product delivery.
• Effectively plan, resource, prioritize projects that the design engineering team is responsible for, and deliver on project milestones and timelines.
• Provide engineering leadership to ensure project deliverables are achieved.
• Establish and foster a culture of innovation and development.
• Proactively engage with customers (internal and external to IDT) to identify and develop new technology opportunities.
• Supervise, mentor, coach, and direct staff to continuously develop individual capabilities and skills.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of relevant experience.
• 5+ years of experience managing a technical team of engineers.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Master's degree in engineering, or related field with equivalent experience.
• Advanced knowledge of equipment design engineering practices in biotech.
