A Day in the Life

This role has a primary focus on creating disruptive and engaging window designs, pop ups, and seasonal installations. Managing the process from design, technical design, production, and installation.

In this role, you will oversee the Visual Merchandising for the couture brands. Focusing on communications calendar, logistics, and processes, ensuring projects move seamlessly from concept to execution. You'll work in a dynamic, creative environment, collaborating with cross-functional partners to uphold and elevate the visual standards of iconic brands such as YSL, Prada, Miu Miu, Valentino, and Armani.

As a Strategic Leader, You Will
  • Develop and implement Visual Merchandising guidelines.
  • Define and shape the brand's overall visual expression.
  • Manage all operational deliverables, ensuring projects are delivered on time and to the highest standard.
  • Streamline communication and processes across teams to improve efficiency and alignment.
Requirements

The ideal candidate brings both creative vision and operational excellence, ensuring that every project reflects the artistry and prestige of the brand. This would include, but would not be limited to, the following roles and responsibilities:

  • 10+ years of related experience
  • Computer Skills - Proficient in SketchUp, Adobe programs, Excel and Microsoft Office/PowerPoint
  • High level of creativity
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Requires a recognized discipline expert within the company
  • Solves unique and complex problems that have a broad impact on the business
  • Identifies applications of functional knowledge and existing methodologies to lead others to solve complex problems
  • Contributes to setting standards around which others will operate within area of expertise
  • May lead programs/multiple projects and/or diverse functional teams
  • Strong technical, communication and visual merchandising background
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Results oriented and action driven with strong sense of teamwork and ability to multi-task
  • Strong leadership skills with ability to motivate
Responsibilities
  • Create Merchandising Directives and Planograms in collaboration with internal departments including Store Design, Visual, Creative, Sales Admin, and Marketing
  • Develop and design VM guidelines for all retail partners
  • Develop Planograms for product placement and ongoing launch display units
  • Design and produce Planogram decks, floor plans, and recaps for store and internal teams
  • Manage roll out of seasonal and holiday VM guidelines, in store graphics
  • Partner with Store design and merchandise teams to develop VM concepts for in case and environment visual programs
  • Work with the creative team to ensure on-time delivery of all creative assets
  • Actively participate in communication with internal teams to support merchandise directives
  • Develop understanding of brand direction to ensure in-store execution is on brand
  • Format field team VM training guidelines and best practices for execution excellence and elevated merchandising
  • Support Sales training and education through ongoing field training and store visits
  • Strategic oversight of budget, balancing brand and business initiatives
