Director, Corporate Development - Gilead Sciences : Job Details

The Director of Corporate Development, as a member of the Search and Evaluation team, is responsible for identifying, engaging with, and assessing external preclinical and clinical-stage opportunities that align with Gileads R&D strategy. The key roles of the position are to identify and lead the evaluation of external opportunities, drive the deep scientific cross-functional diligence of select opportunities, and oversee and guide the presentation of diligence findings to Gileads Senior leadership. This position will focus on identification and evaluation of external Oncology and Inflammation opportunities with support, as needed, for other Therapeutic areas including Inflammation and Technologies and Platforms. The role requires significant scientific expertise in Oncology, Inflammation, and/or Virology and a firm understanding of and significant experience in drug discovery and/or development in Biotech/ Pharma.
