The Content & Creativity team works with clients to develop custom, cross platform brand experiences that create deeper consumer connections through culture. The team taps into a broad network of digital publishers, production companies, television networks, movie studios, social platforms, and streaming networks to produce breakthrough storytelling from large-scale properties to smaller, original programs, covering all budget levels and brand program needs.

This right brain/left brain role will strategize, brainstorm, develop, and execute content partnerships for multiple brand portfolios, and will have the opportunity to work across new lines of business growth within Hearts & Science.

To be successful in this role, you need an understanding of how to establish brand connections through creative media leveraging culture, new media real-estate and big thinking.

You take a holistic view to drive smarter thinking that generates more interesting and richer territories for a brand to explore. You'll work in creative collaboration with all teams – including other members of the Content team, Client business leadership, Experience Planning and Investment - to inspire and inform the creation of culturally led content and experiences.

Strategic & Functional Team Lead: Define the vision for content experiences & entertainment initiatives on behalf of our clients; work with the team you manage/cross-functional teams to bring this vision to life

  • Work hand-in-hand with the Experience Strategy team to mine insights that will help establish deeper connections with consumers and that inform and inspire your big media thinking
  • Actively build out opportunities that deliver on our clients' marketing and media objectives with networks, digital publishers, and more
  • Develop sound recommendations to clients, with provocative insights, big ideas, cultural proof points and compelling tactics
  • Understand and implement approved measurement models to justify investment and quantify results from programs
  • Develop close relationships with media strategy and investment teams to align our team's content programs to broader strategic priorities
  • Stay atop of content, storytelling and technology trends and how those impact the client business
  • Support the Senior Director and Managing Executive Director with presentation materials, status updates, and ad hoc meetings to ensure successful communication with advertising and media clients and agency partners on a consistent basis

Execution: Act as a content expert for clients, integrated agency teams, and partners to oversee the execution of multiple programs across the year

  • Serve as the day-to-day point of contact and content expert for clients, integrated agency teams, and partners to execute multiple programs across a calendar year, from strategy to ideation to creative development to execution.
  • Lead development and activation of multi-platform distribution plans for programs across digital, linear and social
  • Develop and execute timelines, manage production schedules, adhere to deadlines, set up/organize internal/client meetings, and enforce ongoing team communication throughout program
  • Ensure pre, during and post program measurement and optimization plans align to KPIs and are in place for each program
  • Manage internal and external work streams and production process for assigned projects during the creative development phase; development phase will require help with producing written and visual materials such as brand briefs to share with partners, client recommendations, program overviews, and more

Team Management

  • Reporting to the Senior Director, you may also support the Managing Executive Director based on assigned projects and client initiatives.

Thought Leadership

  • Offer support to Hearts and Science Leadership on new business pitches and marketing collateral on an as-needed basis

Qualifications & Skills

  • Minimum 10 years' experience in branded content, integrated partnerships, or strategic partnership development
  • Ability to think differently: creative and adaptive, entrepreneurial, independently minded; deeply immersed in cultural understanding and driven by a desire to know more of the world / to better understand people's motivations and behaviors in the shifting landscape
  • Relentless pursuit of cultural zeitgeist and passion for all forms of entertainment
  • Experience in concept development, production oversight, talent contracting/management, and foundational understanding of working with and managing media partners
  • Exceptional project management skills, with ability to manage multiple work streams and multiple teams with strong quality control
  • Ability to address challenges, work under pressure, follow-through and solve problems quickly in the face of challenges
  • Ability to effectively and confidently communicate information in both verbal and written formats (Development of ideas, pitches, research and recaps, client presentations, etc.
  • Experience implementing effective measurement models, synthesizing data to prove value and program success
  • Can manage peer level clients with a successful track record in account management and client service

This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living). The Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Compensation Range

$145,000 - $150,000 USD
