Job Description

The Client Legal Services Practice Director will oversee our In-House counsel support teams that collaborate with legal teams and leadership. The leader will implement efforts to centralize global support teams, including paralegals and support staff, closely integrated with In-House Attorneys. This role involves leading these teams and partnering with Client Legal Services leadership and Legal Operations to improve legal operational efficiency and business processes. The position reports to the Associate General Counsel and Vice President, Client Legal Services, and works closely with Attorneys and Legal Operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Oversee paralegal and support staff functions, developing vision and strategy aligned with Law and Regulation models.
  • Drive accountability, efficiencies, workload management, and reviews within the CLS support teams.
  • Develop a centralized support staff vision to support In-House Counsel.
  • Collaborate with attorneys on case management outcomes.
  • Produce reports and presentations to measure and communicate outcomes.
  • Work with Legal Operations to optimize legal tech tools, harmonize processes, and enhance decision-making while reducing costs.
  • Partner with senior legal leaders to increase operational efficiencies.
  • Perform other duties as required.
  • SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
    • This position has supervisory duties.
    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
    • Master's Degree in Business (preferred).
    • 10+ years in an In-House Counsel organization, preferably in a corporate legal environment (preferred).
    • Equivalent education and experience may be considered.
    CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

    No certifications, licenses, or registrations are required.

    Skills Compensation

    Annual salary ranges from $171,000 to $230,250, based on experience and qualifications.

    The candidate will be required to undergo a background check.
