Director, Cancer Centers - University of Pittsburgh Medical Center : Job Details

Provides strategic leadership, direction and administration in all aspects of the Cancer Services service line. Has direct responsibility for service line growth and innovation, including the development of new programs and technology. Responsible for high quality outcomes, revenue generation, cost containment, and analytical evaluation of service line performance. Sets the vision and formulates long term strategies to ensure the mission, vision and goals are achieved. Responsibilities: Translate the organization's mission, philosophy and values into an understandable plan for the delivery of patient care. Oversee the delivery of patient care, patient and family experience and quality outcomes using evidence-based practice. Assume profit and loss responsibility for the service line; identify revenue-producing and cost containment opportunities.
