Position : Director, Campus RelationsDepartment: Campus Relations (Performance and Campus Operations)Role Overview: Reporting to the Senior Director, Campus Relations, the Director is responsible for the public areas of the 16-acre campus and all operations at Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts (LCPA) that impact our resident arts organizations, lessees, and city partners. Lincoln Center is home to eleven world-class arts organizations, and one of the primary objectives of Lincoln Center leadership is to provide best-in-class support of our resident organizations, also known as constituents.This position leads the Campus Relations department in supporting and advocating for all constituents on an operational level. This includes, but is not limited to, providing oversight for capital projects, maintaining communication regarding activity in public areas, and establishing positive working relationships in order to address any future obstacles and challenges efficiently. The Campus Relations Department also acts as the aggregator for all activity across campus. It oversees logistics and mitigates challenges and impacts on the resident arts organizations.What you'll get to do here:

  • Serve as the front-facing liaison to Lincoln Center and its resident arts organizations for the Campus Relations Department and all associated activities, including facilities and operations, event operations, engineering, and capital projects.
  • Responsible for maintaining the integrity of Lincoln Center-operated buildings and spaces, including performance venues and public plazas, and all associated assets.
  • Support and advocate for the resident arts organizations' operational requirements and requests across the Lincoln Center campus
  • Facilitate interdepartmental and cross-campus communications as to effectively manage expectations across the LC complex, including events, construction, and capital projects.
  • Act as primary liaison between Lincoln Center and various NYC agencies and organizations, including NYCDOT, Parks, Lincoln Square BID, etc.
  • Provide oversight and support of major constituent projects that are not contracted or directly managed by LCPA.
  • Responsible for oversight of the Lincoln Center parking garages and operational support for campus tenants, including food and beverage operators.
  • Oversee the service delivery process for the campus relations department, including work order communications and processes.
  • Reconcile weekly payroll and event billing for labor provided by Campus Relations and Security, and identify/implement efficiencies and cost-saving measures.
  • Manage and maintain the Arts Vision (AV) calendar for activities related to non-event-related campus activity.
  • Coordinate with internal marketing, communications, and venue sales teams on all press-related inquiries in the public areas, ensuring that all campus compliance is adhered to.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
You'll be a fit if you bring:
  • 10+ years of related experience, including 5+ years of management or leadership experience in complex, large-scale institutions with a track record of delivering best-in-class events, service, and overall hospitality
  • Strong people management skills with a proven ability to train, coach, supervise, evaluate, and motivate staff
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple tasks at once and demonstrate flexibility in light of shifting demands and priorities
  • Team player mentality with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff across the campus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be available to work evenings, weekends & holidays, as necessary and on a regular basis
  • High level of persistence, patience and motivation to work with, and support, various stakeholders
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
