This role focuses on leading and transforming network technology solutions operations within AMD's Network Technology Solutions Group (NTSG). The Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Operations Leadership: Develop, implement, and refine business operations processes that align with NTSG and AMD's corporate objectives. Oversee business process optimization, to ensure efficiency and scalability.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as the primary point of contact between NTSG product management, manufacturing, supply chain, corporate business planning and sales organization. Foster a culture of open communication, accountability, and continuous improvement across the organization.
  • Operational: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for operational health (forecast, revenue attainment, supply request, wafer planning, supply commitment), product cost, and customer fulfillment. Provide transparent reporting to executive leadership and drive root-cause analysis and corrective actions as needed.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Build, lead, and mentor a high-impact operations team. Foster a culture of performance, innovation, and continuous learning. Attract, develop top talent to support the group's strategic ambitions.
  • Change Management: Drive and manage change initiatives that support transformation and scalability, ensuring operational readiness for new technologies, products, and markets.
  • Supply Chain Integration: Partner closely with supply chain teams to align material readiness, vendor qualification, and logistics with NPI schedules and volume ramps. Support supplier selection, negotiation, and relationship management.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 15+ years of progressive experience in business operations, manufacturing and supply chain operations within the semiconductor or high-tech industry.
  • Extensive experience in developing and executing business operations strategies in a global, matrixed environment.
  • Good understanding of manufacturing processes (semiconductor, systems, or modules), supply chain, logistics, and quality systems.
  • Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams and programs with high complexity and visibility.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in operational budgeting, cost control, and ROI analysis.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage at all organizational levels, including executive leadership.
  • Experience with process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) and digital transformation initiatives is highly desirable.
  • Experience in leading business operations/manufacturing operations/supply chain for hardware products, ASICs, or systems-on-chip (SoC).
  • Strong familiarity with hardware and software co-design and integration.
  • Expertise in supplier development and global sourcing strategies.
  • Experience managing operations across multiple geographic regions and cultures.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing technology environment.

Academic Credentials

Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business, Manufacturing, or related field required; Master's degree or MBA preferred.
