Overall PurposeThe Director, Business Development (BD) - Merchant, is a sales expert responsible for executing the Paze merchant sales strategy, developing strategic plans, and establishing relationships with C-suite and cross-functional stakeholders to sell Paze digital checkout and wallet services to US enterprise merchants. This 'hunter' role also involves leading and supporting a high-performing sales team, collaborating internally to refine sales strategies, and working with partners to drive sales success. The role requires close partnership with Customer Integration and Relationship Management teams to ensure high customer satisfaction during merchant onboarding.
Essential FunctionsSalary ranges vary by location, e.g., $170,000 - $190,000 in Phoenix and Chicago; $180,000 - $220,000 in San Francisco and New York, with potential for a sales incentive plan and benefits. Compensation is subject to market and individual factors.
Physical & Other RequirementsStandard office environment, primarily sedentary work, requiring use of computers, occasional standing, and travel. Must be able to lift 10 pounds and perform essential functions with accommodations if needed.
