The Director, Aesthetics Business Development will be responsible for leading and supporting business development transactions. The responsibility will include generating target landscapes, identifying targets, as well as conducting target evaluation, due diligence, contract negotiation, and early integration planning of all licensing, partnership, and acquisition deals. The candidate will work closely with the VP of Business Development, Solta and Ortho Dermatologics Senior Management, and R&D to identify external opportunities to build a robust product portfolio that will fuel Bausch Health's future growth in the aesthetics space. The ideal candidate should have aesthetic and medical device business development/ licensing and acquisition experience (preference given for an understanding of the medical aesthetic market landscape), a technical background, proven business acumen, and a demonstrated ability to work with cross functional teams and external partners over a wide range of geographies and product lifecycle stages.
The candidate will be the “face” of BHC's Aesthetic Business Development organization to our external partners and should strive to make BHC a “partner of choice.” The candidate should demonstrate a clear ability to balance the needs of our external partners with the bandwidth of our internal teams to create a win-win and maximize the value of new opportunities.

The successful candidate will have a demonstrated ability to lead every stage of a business development transaction, from identifying targets to closing deals, and should have a successful track record of leading strategically, building alignment, working independently, and collaborating with colleagues at all levels of the organization. This candidate will also have demonstrated initiative, creativity, and ability to work in a complex, rapidly changing and ambiguous environment.
The range of starting base pay for this role is 186K-257K. Actual starting pay will be based on a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, qualifications, education and location. In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for participation in either (i) our annual bonus program or (ii) a sales incentive plan.
