Annual Salary : $154,000 - $184,000 (Amount based on relevant experience, skills, and competencies.)

About This Job

The main purpose of this job is to oversee multiple business units within the Wealth Operations division in Bank Operations. This position will ensure, by working through its direct reports, that daily operational activities, reporting, supervision, and coaching of employees are occurring with high quality and according to established guidelines, procedures, and industry regulations.

Essential Functions

  • Support division-wide initiatives by contributing strategic insights and making decisions that prioritize the long-term success of Bank Operations, the broader organization, and our customers.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration with external vendors and internal departments to resolve complex technical problems and drive the development of innovative new systems.
  • Maintain relationships with outside agents and review various periodicals, government publications, or industry reports to stay informed of changes and updates.
  • Oversee internal and external audit processes for Wealth Operations, ensuring timely responses, effective follow-up on corrective actions, and seamless coordination to maintain regulatory compliance and operational integrity.
  • Develop short and long-term initiatives aligned with the company's strategy and provide guidance, coaching, and development opportunities tailored to each direct report's individual needs.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate team members to implement the department strategy and uphold the company culture.
  • Oversee budget management, planning, and expenditure.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required

  • Strong knowledge of Trust and Capital Markets' fields, including best practices.
  • Ability to create a high-performing team and successfully lead initiatives, projects, and activities supporting departmental and organizational goals.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to work across the organization and interact, influence, and negotiate effectively at all levels of management and peers.
  • Ability to think critically, solve problems, make decisions, and build trust across the company, while effectively developing and implementing strategies to address complex business issues.
  • Expertise in general management, including goal setting, planning, budgeting, and personnel administration.
  • Ability to remain adaptable and resilient with an optimistic outlook, positively reflecting our culture and core values.
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook.

Education & Experience

  • Master's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Management, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 10+ years of Trust or Capital Markets Operations experience.
  • 7+ years of leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Trust certification required, or ability to obtain within one year of hire.
  • For roles with pay transparency requirements, the estimated compensation range is $154,500 to $184,000 annually, dependent on various factors. This position is eligible for additional compensation through performance-based incentives.
