Director, Applications (AI/Azure Databricks) - REMOTE

Designs, develops, and communicates technology models and foundations used to run applications, data, and infrastructure in support of one or more business processes. Applies and promotes key principles (e.g. stability, scalability, performance, security, compatibility, re-use), helping ensure a balance between tactical and strategic technology solutions. Considers business problems “end-to-end”: including people, process, and technology, both within and outside the enterprise, as part of any design solution. Promotes the use of industry and enterprise technology standards. Monitors emerging technologies for potential application within or across the Corporation. Adheres to design and application development standards, methodology and framework within Architectural compliance and governance.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Establishes and manages key performance metrics and develops goals and strategies to achieve corporate objectives.

• Serves as mentor, coach and leader to the Application Design and Development and Support teams.

• Works closely with project teams to find solutions to ensure the success of the Health Performance Assessment System.

• Takes a leadership role in evolving Molina application development practices.

• Works collaboratively with business and other IT teams to deliver successful and certifiable Medicaid Management Information Systems solutions.

• Works closely with EPMO, business stakeholders to manage priorities deliveries and expectations.

Job Qualifications

Required Education

Graduate Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

Required Experience

7-9 years Application Design, Development Experience and, Management, Healthcare Industry

Preferred Experience

10+ years, Healthcare Industry

Experience with AI Data Integration.

Experience with Member, Enrollment, and Claims applications - which underpin essential business functions such as HEDIS reporting, Risk Adjustment (RA), and Health Plan Reporting.

Python.

Spark.

QNXT.

Preferred License, Certification, Association

Microsoft Technology, Mobility, ITIL
