The Director, Media Analytics leads the development of data-driven solutions for clients - including report automation, analysis, and insight - with the objective of optimizing the performance of media initiatives. The Director will manage data and insight delivery processes, inspire creativity, and ensure all around team success.You will report to a VP, Analytics.We are looking for someone who is execution-focused, works well under pressure, and manages data challenges in all phases of media performance. Your success requires the ability to manage complexity while collaborating across teams, experience within a matrixed organization, and comfort with a lean operating environment that highly uses automation.You will have a natural curiosity, going beyond reporting to peel away the layers of data to suggest constructive tests, analytics engagements, and audience deep dives that help improve business performance on a regular basis. Lead completion of overall media measurement strategy on behalf of clients, including reporting, measurement, learning agendas, and test design.Understand core client business challenges, and develop relevant measurement frameworks that outline measures of success, in-flight optimization levers, and learning prioritiesWork closely with internal and client teams to identify business needs and analytics opportunities, developing tools, dashboards, and techniques to optimize media performanceGuide the creation of reporting through automated processes, efficiently consolidating data from a multitude of sources into a cohesive view of performanceImprove the quality of reporting by creating easy to follow weekly or monthly visual dashboards that partners will utilize on a regular basis to make informed business decisionsEnsure alignment between day-to-day analytics support & approved measurement frameworksPrepare & deliver executive-level presentations for internal and external audienceParticipate in team-wide culture of learning by staying current on current industry trends, developments in methodologies and technologiesManage/mentor junior team membersOffer thought leadership in the best practices of the utilization of data, analytics and insights to optimize and enhance our client's businessQualifications8+ years relevant Media or Analytics experience requiredExperience with retail media analyticsBachelor's Degree is required in Statistics, Economics or related a quantitative fieldHave understanding of digital planning and buying, with a focus on standard media metricsPrevious experience aggregating data from multiple sourcesPrevious experience with data from digital media platforms (e.g. DCM, SA360, TTD, FB, etc.) preferredDemonstrate understanding of digital tagging, tracking, QA, and maintenanceKnowledge of Google Analytics/OmnitureKnowledge of PowerBI, Tableau, Google Data Studio, or any similar dashboard productsKnowledge of digital attribution methods, marketing mix modeling, measurement frameworks, KPI discovery, tracking implementation preferredThe annual salary range for this position is $113,000-$182,850.   • Understand core client business challenges, and develop relevant measurement frameworks that outline measures of success, in-flight optimization levers, and learning priorities
  • Work closely with internal and client teams to identify business needs and analytics opportunities, developing tools, dashboards, and techniques to optimize media performance
  • Guide the creation of reporting through automated processes, efficiently consolidating data from a multitude of sources into a cohesive view of performance
  • Improve the quality of reporting by creating easy to follow weekly or monthly visual dashboards that partners will utilize on a regular basis to make informed business decisions
  • Ensure alignment between day-to-day analytics support & approved measurement frameworks
  • Prepare & deliver executive-level presentations for internal and external audience
  • Participate in team-wide culture of learning by staying current on current industry trends, developments in methodologies and technologies
  • Manage/mentor junior team members
  • Offer thought leadership in the best practices of the utilization of data, analytics and insights to optimize and enhance our client's businessQualifications
    • 8+ years relevant Media or Analytics experience required
    • Experience with retail media analytics
    • Bachelor's Degree is required in Statistics, Economics or related a quantitative field
    • Have understanding of digital planning and buying, with a focus on standard media metrics
    • Previous experience aggregating data from multiple sources
    • Previous experience with data from digital media platforms (e.g. DCM, SA360, TTD, FB, etc.) preferred
    • Demonstrate understanding of digital tagging, tracking, QA, and maintenance
    • Knowledge of Google Analytics/Omniture
    • Knowledge of PowerBI, Tableau, Google Data Studio, or any similar dashboard products
