Join our SOC team as a Director of Ammunition Logistics!This position is contingent upon contract award. SOC, a Day & Zimmermann company, is currently identifying qualified candidates in anticipation of a forthcoming contract opportunity. Employment offers will be extended only if and when the contract is officially awarded to SOC.The Director of Ammunition Logistics provides strategic leadership and oversight for all functions related to wholesale ammunition inventory and associated items. This role is accountable for optimizing inventory space allocation, stock control, accountability standards, traffic management, and transportation operations. The director manages the full lifecycle of ammunition stock—from receipt and secure storage through issuance—ensuring compliance with policies and regulations. Developing staffing plans to meet operational demands and ensuring safety and accountability are key responsibilities.Key duties include establishing goals with senior management, overseeing inventory and logistics at Hawthorne Army Depot, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance, providing leadership and mentorship, and strategic planning for depot operations.Ideal candidates will have extensive knowledge of supply depot operations, safety, environmental, security standards, and strategic planning abilities.
