Responsibilities include fiscal and resource management, quality monitoring, staff hiring, training, competency assessment and corrective actions, long term planning. The Director works with the Administrative Director Maternal Child Services and the Medical Directors (MD) to develop and maintain the delivery of services in support of the strategic goals of SVH and the Maternal Child Service Line. Plans, directs, and coordinates patient care activities in the OB/ GYN clinics to maintain the standard of care for the obstetrical and gynecological patient. Advises medical staff and administrators in matters related to patient care services by performing the below duties or through delegation to subordinate leaders. Oversees operational leadership for the Lincoln Center.
