Director, AI Storage/Compute Product Management

Celestica's Hardware Product Solutions group has a critical opening for an AI Storage / Compute Product Line Management director. This role requires a strong understanding of datacenter Artificial Intelligence (AI) computing, including AI server and AI storage requirements. The director will be a product leader working with multiple functional teams to drive platforms that help Enterprises and Service Providers transform their businesses using AI technologies.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of hardware technologies such as AI servers and AI storage, and experience with hardware and software product management across the full product lifecycle (cradle to grave). The candidate will own critical product line management responsibilities and contribute to processes that enhance product management practices. Strong business, technical, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential. This role is best suited for candidates in the Bay Area.

Responsibilities
  • Drive AI storage & compute product strategy and establish an optimal roadmap including new products and services.
  • Define winning features, pricing, launch/GA targets, and market positioning to keep the portfolio competitive.
  • Develop product business cases to secure funding for new Celestica platforms and drive MRDs / PRDs through creation, review, and approval.
  • Ensure timely execution of all product phase gate reviews and drive cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder alignment.
  • Influence and support Sales/Marketing GTM strategy, product positioning, and market messaging.
  • Track actual performance against the business case, oversee product P&L, sales enablement, and sustaining escalations.
  • Support product End-of-Life (EOL) strategy, planning, and execution.
Qualifications
  • 12+ years of relevant product management experience at a Service Provider or Enterprise technology company.
  • Experience developing/launching products within the AI segment.
  • Experience leading product vision, go-to-market strategy, and product requirements.
  • Experience managing strategic product roadmaps and cross-functional teams.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, positive attitude, and ability to make an impact.
  • Excellent interpersonal, relationship-building, and communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Ability to adjust communication style based on the audience (detailed to executive summary).
  • Strong project management skills with experience managing multiple launches and projects concurrently.
  • Proven success in managing complex hardware product programs from ideation to completion.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving ability and reliability in meeting deadlines and exceeding expectations.
  • Recent experience in a fast-paced, multinational technology company.
Physical Demands
  • Willingness to travel (up to ~25%), to visit customers, events, Celestica locations, and partner sites.
  • Duties performed in a normal office environment; may require extended periods of sitting and visual concentration.
  • Repetitive manual movements (e.g., data entry, computer use).
Typical Education
  • BS in Engineering with a strong background in AI Storage/Compute products preferred.
  • MBA preferred.
Salary

$170,000 - $240,000 USD per year. This range is an estimate and may change based on duties, credentials, experience, or geographic location.
