Director 1 Performance Management Teacher Evaluation - Houston Independent School District : Job Details

The Director of Performance Management Teacher Evaluations oversees the implementation and meaningful execution of HISD's evaluation system for teachers, the Teacher Excellence System (TES). This role is responsible for ensuring the system is effectively deployed maintained and aligned with organizational goals to enhance employee performance and development, this includes designing and maintaining systems or processes in which teacher performance data is collected, validated, processed, and distributed. The Director believes in continuous improvement and applies the belief in the service of HISD stakeholders, recognizing effective evaluation systems are a key driver in continuous improvement. The Director's ultimate goal is to ensure the Performance Management team is the premiere source of accurate and timely qualitative and quantitative data that empowers HISD to better support, develop, retain, and reward teachers.
