Direct Support Professional/Caregiver - Michigan Staffing : Job Details

Pay: $15/hr - $18.46/hr Benefits: 2 weeks paid vacation Hours Needed: Sunday & Tuesday: 8am to 4pm Thursday, Friday & Saturday: 4pm to Midnight

Job Overview: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional/Caregiver to provide care for my son, who has developmental disabilities, autism, and epilepsy. Must be available all the hrs/days listed above every week.

Key Responsibilities: - Assist with personal care tasks such as showering, brushing teeth, and toileting. - Prepare meals, wash dishes, and maintain a clean living environment. - Handle laundry and other household chores. - Encourage and support the client in developing independent living skills. - Administer medication and accompany the client to doctor appointments, grocery shopping, and various outings. All Training will be provided.

Qualifications: - Must be a team player who works well with others. - Honest and able to follow directions and rules. - Capable of working under the guidance of a team leader and attending monthly team meetings. - Must pass a background check with no felonies.
