We operate 4 person group homes and individual apartment settings. Our residential services are rehabilitative, and our aim is to help individuals reach their personal goals for independence. This position is for a unique foster care program within Options Residential, which serves adolescent clients from 12-18.Schedule: Part time weekends 6am-12pm, part time Mon-Fri 6am-9amStarting Salary: $17.00 hourlyBenefits: Eligible 1st of the month after 60 days employment. Health insurance (ICHRA), Dental, Vision, Company Paid Life/LTD. 401k-eligible after 90 days employment. Must be scheduled 30+ hours per week to be benefits-eligible.What do Direct Support Professionals do?DSPs provide a variety of services to our residents, and duties vary from program to program, but may include (but are not limited to):Providing care giver services to our residents, including personal cares when appropriate and necessaryTeaching and maintaining skillsCooking and feeding assistanceProviding support with hobbies, studies, and social activitiesMedication administrationAnd participating in fun recreational activities with residents!Our DSP jobs are ideal for someone who has these minimum qualifications: 21 years of age or olderExperience with adolescent population preferredWillingness to do personal cares (dressing, bathing/showering, toileting) with clientsValid US driver's licenseBasic computer skillsWhat skills do Direct Support Professionals need?No degree is required!
