Digital Merchandiser - Cella : Job Details

Location: Beaverton, OregonJob Type: ContractCompensation Range: $30 - 34 per hourOur client in the Retail space is looking for a new Digital Merchandiser for a (w2) 6-month contract. They are looking for a passionate Merchandiser with a knack for understanding consumer trends. You'll be a key player in a fast-paced retail environment, collaborating with a wide range of teams-from merchandising and marketing to analytics and finance-to optimize product assortments and drive sales. You'll use data on sales, inventory, and consumer behavior to make strategic decisions and will report directly to the Buying Director. This position requires this person to be onsite in Portland, OR 4 days per week. Responsibilities:Develop and manage seasonal product assortments for digital platforms, ensuring they align with consumer demand and overall business strategy.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute assortment plans effectively.Analyze market trends and competitive landscapes to inform and create consumer-centric assortment plans.Participate in buy reviews and in-season trading to optimize growth and influence key business decisions.Lead 50% of the Women's Sportswear Footwear business, with a specific focus on the Classics and Solar categories. Qualifications:Requires Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education, experience and training.2-4 years' experience in footwear buying and/or merchandising, product creation and/or retail in a vertical, multi-brand or digital environment.Strong affinity for current market trends for Her, Sport, and how apparel can continue to be a style leader in the marketplace.Footwear, Apparel, Equipment or relevant consumer product buying and/or merchandising experience.Understanding of common retail and/or digital profit-based metrics such as sell-through, turn, ASP, UPT and others.Ability to contribute to and drive strategy into action.
