(Full-time/ Hybrid with Travel to PCDC office (NYC- lower Manhattan) as needed.
PCDC is seeking a tech-savvy and data-driven Digital Marketing Manager who will collaborate with the VP, Marketing & Communications and Director, Content & Campaigns to upgrade and optimize our digital presence across platforms. This role is central to driving revenue across business units and growing brand awareness through digital channels.
To be successful in this role, one should be able to demonstrate strong experience with marketing technology platforms (Mailchimp, WordPress, Google Analytics), campaign performance analysis, SEO/SEM, content creation and digital project management. You will support revenue and engagement goals by driving digital strategies, being a source of marketing best practices and acting as a liaison between vendors and other departments within PCDC.
Marketing Technology & Website Management:
- Own and manage the organization's primary WordPress website and new auxiliary Google site ensuring optimal functionality, SEO performance, accessibility, and regular content updates.
- Maintain and improve digital workflows, integrations, and automations between platforms (e.g., email marketing, website, CRM).
- Email Marketing:
- Build and manage stakeholder communications using Mailchimp (or comparable platforms), including list segmentation, automation, and performance analysis.
- Support lifecycle marketing efforts to drive client retention, cultivation and program engagement.
- Social Media Management:
- Oversee scheduling, publishing, and monitoring of content across social platforms.
- Use platform analytics and trends to grow engagement and improve visibility.
- Data, Analytics & Reporting:
- Monitor digital KPIs using Google Analytics, social insights, and email dashboards.
- Translate performance data into insights and actionable recommendations.
- Develop monthly and quarterly reports to assess ROI and inform strategy.
- Digital Strategy & Execution:
- Support the planning and execution of multi-channel digital marketing campaigns that align with programmatic and fundraising goals.
- Manage digital marketing calendars and coordinate cross-functional stakeholders for timely delivery.
- Implement and optimize SEO, SEM, and paid digital advertising strategies (Google Ads, Google Grant, social ads, etc.).
- Content Creation & Management:
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop clear, accessible, and mission-aligned digital content.
- Write and edit content for web pages, emails, and social media, ensuring consistency in voice and messaging.
- Coordinate with designers and media creators on multimedia and branded assets.
- Manage digital photo and image library.
- Project Management:
- Create campaign or project specific marketing and communications plans
- Use Monday.com to manage timelines, deliverables, and cross-functional communication for marketing initiatives.
- Maintain documentation and best practices for repeatable marketing operations.
- Manage external vendors including graphic and web designers, print shops, etc. as needed for general departmental and organizational support.
Requirements

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in digital marketing, preferably in a nonprofit or healthcare context.
- Strong technical knowledge of WordPress, Mailchimp (or similar email services), Google Analytics, SEO tools, and social media platforms.
- Proficiency in utilizing Canva for social media, flyers and other marketing needs.
- Proven experience using data to inform marketing strategy and improve outcomes.
- Comfort with writing short form content to support marketing initiatives.
- Familiarity with digital advertising platforms and A/B testing methodologies.
- Excellent project management, organization, and communication skills.
Essential Certifications:
- WordPress Certified Editor (WCE)
- Google Ads (e.g., search, display, video, measurement)
- Google Analytics Individual Qualification (IQ)
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with Canva, Photoshop and Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign
- WordPress Certified Developer (WCD)
- Experience with video editing tools.
- Familiarity with CRMs like Monday CRM, Salesforce, HubSpot, or donor management systems.
- Experience with Google Tag Manager, HTML/CSS, or web optimization tools.
