Who we are looking for:We are seeking a data-driven and strategic Assistant Vice President (AVP) of Digital Marketing Analytics & Reporting to lead the measurement, analysis, and optimization of our digital marketing channels. This role is responsible for tracking performance and delivering actionable insights across our website, social media, email marketing, paid search, paid advertising and other digital initiatives.
The ideal candidate has deep experience in data-science analytics, is highly proficient in data visualization and dashboard creation, and can effectively translate complex data sets into strategic recommendations. This is a highly visible role that will work cross-functionally with Marketing, Digital, Product, Sales and Compliance teams for data-driven business outcomes.
What you will do:
Lead the end-to-end digital analytics strategy across website, email, social media, SEO/SEM, display, paid media and other digital campaigns.
Partner with IT/vendors to consolidate all proprietary and third party data into a centralize database/CDP.
Design, build, and maintain comprehensive dashboards and performance reports using Tableau, GA4, Google Looker Studio (required). PowerBI, Adobe Analytics, and other reporting tools knowledge is a plus.
Establish key performance indicators (KPIs), trends, and benchmarks to assess digital performance, campaign efficacy, and customer engagement.
Deliver clear, concise insights and recommendations to senior leadership and marketing stakeholders to inform content, campaign, and channel strategies.
Partner with the web development and marketing technology teams to ensure accurate and scalable tagging and tracking (Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, UTM governance, etc.).
Partner with the Client Experience Director to develop A/B testing and experimentation strategies to optimize user engagement, conversion, and ROI.
Provide quarterly and annual digital performance reviews to inform broader business strategy.
Ensure compliance with data governance and privacy standards within financial services.
The qualities you should have:
Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Marketing or related field; Master's preferred.
7+ years of progressive experience in digital marketing analytics, with at least 2 years in a leadership or strategic role.
Strong hands-on proficiency in analytics platforms such as Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, Tableau, and Adobe Analytics.
Hands-on experience with dashboard and BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker Studio).
Proficiency in data analysis languages/tools such as SQL, Excel, and Python or R.
Demonstrated ability to translate data into business insights and influence strategic decision-making.
Familiarity with marketing automation platforms and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Adobe Marketo/AEM Sites/Target).
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with an ability to explain technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
Experience in financial services within asset/wealth management (a plus) or other highly regulated industries.
Familiarity with digital attribution models and customer journey analytics.
Knowledge of data privacy frameworks (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) as it relates to digital marketing.
Base Salary range: $100,000 - $150,000. In addition, this role is eligible for an annual incentive bonus. Compensation may vary based upon, but not limited to – the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity.
