We're looking for a strategic and analytical digital advertising expert to join our fully remote team. In this client-facing role, you'll manage and optimize paid ad campaigns across platforms like Google, Meta, LinkedIn, and Pinterest—driving performance through data, not creative. You'll take ownership of audits, training, QA, onboarding, and reporting, while collaborating with internal teams to deliver measurable results for SMB and startup clients.

This role demands someone who can balance technical know-how with client empathy, manage multiple projects with ease, and confidently translate campaign data into actionable insights. Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and execute all digital ads (including, but not limited to, Google, Meta, LinkedIn, Pinterest, programmatic)
  • This is not a creative role and it does not include copywriting. It's your job to question creative and give feedback to the creative team.
  • Perform full audit of various ad types for digital audit clients.
  • Train clients on how to set up and manage ads themselves.
  • Client Onboarding:Lead the onboarding process for new clients, ensuring a smooth transition and clear understanding of objectives and expectations.
  • Communication Management:Manage all client communications, ensuring messaging is clear, concise, and aligned with client goals.
  • Opportunity Identification:Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify opportunities for improvement within client accounts, focusing on maximizing ROI and achieving client objectives.
  • Quality Assurance:Perform quality assurance checks on deployments executed by Analysts, ensuring accuracy, effectiveness, and alignment with strategic goals.
  • Insight Development:Analyze campaign performance data to develop insights that explain outcomes, inform actionable recommendations, and guide strategic adjustments.
  • Tactic and Feature Innovation:Identify and drive the adoption of new tactics and platform features based on campaign insights and industry trends.
  • Industry Awareness:Stay informed about the latest business and technical changes in the Paid Search landscape, with a focus on digital ad platforms. Adapt strategies accordingly to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Process Improvement: Continually evaluates processes, workflows and resources for ways to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the team, then creating and implementing plan for ways of working optimization.

Job Requirements
  • Experience working at a digital marketing agency
  • Experience working with ads in the retail industry – both online and in store.
  • Deep strategic expertise and hands-on experience across paid search and paid social advertising campaigns, such as Google Ads, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads and others.
  • Strong understanding of digital ad principles, including keyword research, ad copywriting, bid management, and campaign optimization.
  • Understanding how to use the testing tools inside each of the ad platforms.
  • Ability to analyze campaign performance data using tools like Google Analytics, Looker Studio, Excel, or other analytics platforms to make data-driven decisions and optimize campaign performance.
  • Experience creating ads for top, middle, & bottom of funnel.
  • Proven and measurable success with start-ups and SMBs.
  • Ability to translate and articulate strategy and tell stories with data.
  • Equal parts analytical and creative.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • This role demands a proactive and analytical professional who can drive business growth through effective communication, strategic planning, and cutting-edge solutions.
  • Has experience with AI tools, but also understands that AI should not replace human expertise and that all AI outputs require human review. (This role will not use third party tools)
  • Experience auditing ads.
  • Ability to review landing pages and provide recommendations to improve conversions that relate to user experience and friction points.
  • Must understand Google Tag Manager, how to audit it, and all the offline tracking setups.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to lead client relationships and meetings.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and strategies.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and quality assurance skills.
  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with other digital channels and how they work together with ads in the overall strategy.
  • Google Ads certified.
  • Ability to deeply understand each client's positioning and unique value propositions. Demonstrates a complete understanding of the client's business, maintaining familiarity with the history, present organization and procedures of the client, as well as conditions of the industry.
  • Strong ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable ad strategies.
  • A deep understanding of customer needs and a passion for creating exceptional experiences.
  • Partner closely with internal stakeholders and cross-functional partners, such as Sr. Strategist/Analyst, account managers, creatives, and others to design paid media strategies, identify testing opportunities, and uncover critical insights and learnings.
  • Critically analyze ongoing campaign data and insights to continually improve our strategic recommendations for budget allocation, campaign activation, and optimizations.
  • Technology Tools: Proficiency in Office 365, AI tools (such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Perplexity), and Slack is preferred. A strong understanding of the digital realm is essential.
  • As this is a remote position, you will need to have a fast, reliable internet connection and a functioning computer for the 90-day contract period (it must be a computer, not a mobile device).
  • Prior experience working in a remote work setting preferred.
  • Must be based in the U.S. in Eastern or Central time zone.
