Dietitian (RD) - The Phoenix Rehabilitation and Nursing Center : Job Details

Dietitian (RD) The Phoenix Rehabilitation & Nursing Center is seeking a Dietitian to join their dynamic team. This 189-bed facility is looking for a hard working and energized Dietitian to help manage the nutrition needs of their short term, long term, Palliative Care and feeding tube residents while proudly serving their diverse community health-care needs. Salary: up to $85,000 annually Dietitian Reporting to the Lead Regsitered Dietitian the successful candidate will:

• Assess the nutritional needs of residents by completing the necessary clinical nutritional assessments
• Providing nutrition counseling and education for residents and family
• Working with interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal care is provided to all residents
• Be knowledgeable of the Nutrition Care Process
• Possess the ability to creatively problem solve and work independently with minimal supervision
• Efficiently and effectively organize clinical nutrition and patient care responsibilities
• Rotating holidays and weekend work required

Dietitian (RD) Requirements:

• Registered Dietitian or Registered Dietitian Eligible (with DI Verification Statement)
• Comfortable with enteral nutrition
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Familiarity with state survey process and compliance to nutrition care regulations a plus
