Dietitian - PRIDE Health : Job Details

Pride Health is hiring for a Dietitian to support our client's medical facility based in West Hollywood, CA. This is a 13-week opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Responsibilities:

• Calculate and monitor calorie counts to support accurate nutritional planning and patient care.
• Manage and oversee enteral nutrition (tube feedings), ensuring appropriate formulations and administration.
• Identify, monitor, and address complications related to nutrition therapy, modifying plans as needed.
• Implement and adjust therapeutic diet orders based on individual patient needs and physician directives.
• Initiate and manage total parenteral nutrition (TPN), coordinating with interdisciplinary teams for safe and effective delivery.
• Apply professional knowledge and clinical judgment to support high standards of nutritional care.
• Develop individualized plans of treatment in collaboration with healthcare providers to meet patients' medical and nutritional needs.
• Conduct initial and ongoing nutrition assessments and reassessments to track progress and adapt interventions.
• Perform Nutrition Focused Physical Exams (NFPE) to evaluate patients' nutritional status and identify malnutrition or other deficiencies.
• Diagnose and intervene in cases of protein-calorie malnutrition, using evidence-based practices to improve patient outcomes.

Education/Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years' experience in acute care setting, preferably in a teaching hospital.
• State License Required Credentialing as Diet Technician Registered by Commission on Dietetic Registration.
• Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR); Certified Nutrition Support Clinician (preferred).
• EPIC Experience REQUIRED.
• Peds experience highly preferred.

Job Title: Dietitian

Location: West Hollywood, CA

Shift Schedule: Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 17:00)

Pay Range: Local $50 to $55/hr, Travel- $2000 to $2200/week
