The role you'll contribute:

Under the direct supervision of the Director of Nutritional Services, the Dietary Specialist performs a variety of patient food service and dish duties as well as other related tasks.

The value you'll bring to the team:

  • Answers the phone to take patients food order and prepares food trays for general and therapeutic diets. Delivers food to the patients.
  • Consult Clinical Dietician as necessary.
  • Treats patients and families with dignity and respect
  • Disposes of trash and garbage in appropriate manner and as needed.
  • Unload food trays and help with dishes
  • Delivers floor stock to patient care units

The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:

Minimum qualifications:

  • High school or GED
