What You'll Do:

• Perform repairs, including routine maintenance and fixes on engines, chassis, body components, hydraulic systems, brake systems, suspension systems, and more.

• Inspect equipment and trucks, checking their condition, parts, fluid levels, and various systems.

• Demonstrate knowledge in hydraulic repairs.

• Use vehicle computer electronics systems to understand failure modes and initiate repairs.

• Carry out safety checks on vehicles and equipment.

• Complete paperwork using fleet maintenance software for repairs, documenting parts used, and tracking repair times.

• Review and address repairs noted on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports.

• Engage in maintenance-related tasks as needed.

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with corporate and OSHA standards.

• Adhere to safety protocols while working on vehicles.

• Communicate effectively about needed repairs or tasks.

• Engage in extensive physical activity including heavy lifting and handling objects over 50 pounds.

• Work environment may include indoor shop settings or outdoor spaces for on-road repairs, with the need to work in varying positions and handle equipment in challenging conditions. Basic safety precautions are essential.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 2+ years' experience directly related to the duties described above is required.

• Must provide own personal tools; welding or fabrication experience is a significant plus!

• ASE Certifications are preferred but not required.
