Diesel Technician - Magnum : Job Details

Magnum, established in 1978, is a logistics service provider with divisions focused on meeting customer needs. The Diesel/Tractor Trailer Tech is responsible for routine maintenance on diesel engine semi-tractors, diagnosing and repairing vehicles, and performing inspections and repairs on semi-trailers. This position requires knowledge of various tools and welders for repairs.Responsibilities

• Diagnose and make recommendations on repairs as required
• Perform repairs and modifications on all styles of tractors and trailers
• Repair, rewire, and troubleshoot electrical systems
• Follow company protocol for maintenance checks
• Perform welding on various materials
• Use computer for order and invoice management
• Change oil, air, and fuel filters
• Use handle tools for repairs
• Maintain knowledge of local, state, and federal DOT laws
• Communicate effectively with team members

Requirements
