Qualifications Needed:

• Minimum of one (1) year experience working on Class A trucks.
• Experience with air brakes, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Welding and fabrication experience is essential.
• Preferred experience in tire repair (repair, mounting, dismounting).
• Ability to perform DOT inspections and ensure compliance.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair issues on truck and trailer components, including doors, floors, electrical systems, and air brake systems.
• Conduct preventive maintenance (PMs) on tractors and trailers, including routine repairs and completion of repair orders.
• Perform maintenance to ensure safety and reliability on all fleet vehicles, including tractors, trailers, lift-gates, and other company-owned equipment.
• Adhere to all company safety policies and assist in maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
• Assist drivers with vehicle-related concerns.
• Maintain and repair Class 8 trucks, trailers, and yard tractors.
• Safely operate gauges, forklifts, shunt trucks, torches, grinders, and various hand and power tools.
