Job Description Join a reputable and expanding employer in Garden City Park, NY that is hiring experienced Diesel Truck Mechanics to maintain and repair their fleet of heavy-duty diesel trucks, including semis, dump trucks, box trucks, flatbeds, and Reefer trucks. What's In It for You?

Shift: Multiple shifts available:

• Days, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (Monday - Friday)
• Afternoons, 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM (Monday - Friday)
• Midnight - 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM (Monday - Friday)

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive maintenance services
• Maintain work area safety
• Conduct diesel repairs, service, and diagnostics
• Service customers and handle road calls
• Diagnose and repair malfunctions
• Work with minimal supervision
• Inspect trucks for proper working condition
• Perform routine maintenance
• Inspect, test, and diagnose defective equipment
• Repair major components (engine, transmission, differentials)
• Comply with federal and state vehicle requirements

Requirements:

• 3+ years of diesel/automotive mechanic experience
• Strong diagnostic troubleshooting skills
• Basic computer skills
• Diesel Mechanic/Technical training
• ASE certification is not required but, nice to have
• Valid driver's license required; CDL preferred
• Strong communication skills
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must have your own set of tools
• Must pass pre-employment checks (Criminal Record, Drug Screening, MVR)
